About the Hosts
Hi there! We’re Anthony and Dawn Hartung, proud parents of four amazing kids — ages 23, 18, 7, and 5 — and the hearts behind Salutè Getaways. Anthony is a devoted special education teacher and volunteer firefighter, always driven by compassion and a deep desire to help others.
Dawn is an inspiring Agile Coach, passionate about empowering teams to collaborate, grow, and achieve meaningful success together. Our journey to creating Salutè Getaways began with a shared love for people, hospitality, and the beauty of Arizona. We’ve always believed that travel is about more than just a destination — it’s about connection, comfort, and creating moments that last.
As a family, we embrace adventure wherever we go. You’ll often find us enjoying Arizona’s breathtaking mountain views, visiting our daughter at Grand Canyon University (GCU), spending time with our loved ones in Apache Junction, or discovering hidden gems across this incredible state.
When we found this home in Scottsdale, we knew it was something special — a place filled with warmth, sunshine, and that unmistakable Arizona magic.
